Also called honey water! The base for many cocktails and mocktails with honey!
1 cup water
½ dl Amber Nordic Wildflowers Honey
Bring the water to a boil. Once boiling, add 1 tablespoon of dried flower or herb* and the honey. Stir to dissolve the honey and leave to cool. Strain. Then place in a glass jar, perhaps a used honey jar, and store in the refrigerator for 3 days.
Our most used flavorings:
-
Wild rose, which we pick ourselves on the beach from May to September. Dry on newspaper for a week or 2. Crumble it and store in a brown glass jar.
-
Lavender - culinary use!
-
Rosemary - fresh rosemary works best!
